Detail original research and should include hypothesis, background study, methods, results, interpretation of findings and a discussion of possible implications. Research study papers should not exceed 15,000 words and include references, tables, figures when necessary and applicable.
Provide a critical and constructive analysis of existing published literature in a field, through summary, analysis, and comparison, often identifying specific gaps or problems and providing recommendations for future research. Review articles submissions should not exceed 10,000 words and include references that are relevant and applicable to the review content.
Present the details of real patient cases from medical or clinical practice. The cases presented are usually those that contribute significantly to the existing knowledge on the field. The study is expected to discuss the signs, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of a condition or disease. Clinical case study submissions should not exceed 6,000 words.
Present the author’s viewpoint on the interpretation, analysis, or methods used in a particular study. This submission allows the author to comment on the strength and weakness of a theory or hypothesis and should be backed by research. Opinion article submissions should be no longer than 3,000 words.
Provide insight and opinion on recently published scholarly books relevant to the field of medical gases and regenerative biology. Academic book review submissions should be no longer than 1,000 words.

All submissions shall follow the World Medical Associations Declaration of Helsinki (2013) to promote and safeguard the health, well-being and rights of patients, including those who are involved in medical research. All authors should seek approval to conduct research from the applicable governing bodies and be prepared to provide documentation when requested by editors. Compliance Review Boards
All submissions with that involve human research require informed consent and approval in compliance with the laws and guidelines within the country in which the research was completed. All authors should be prepared to provide documentation showing compliance when requested by editors.
Publication Language
The published language of the journal is standard American English. For the best chance of acceptance, submission language should be accurate, concise, clear and objective.
Basic Text Guidelines for Submission
This publication adheres to the guidelines and agreements set forth by The International Committee for Medical Journal Editors in the document titled “Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals” (2024). Funding Disclosure Details – Provide all details required by your funding and grant awarding bodies (when applicable). For each grant use the format “This work was supported by the [Funding Agency] under Grant [number xxxx].”
Abstracts – An informative abstract of 250 words or fewer, should state the purpose of the research, what was done, the findings and conclusions based on the research.
Keywords – Include 3 to 6 key words that are not contained within the title
Key Points – An informative summary of 2 to 3 sentences describing the content should be provided for use by the journal during publication.
Depiction of Patients – The journal only publishes photos of subjects who have provided express written permission to the author to do so. The journal will note in an editorial comment in articles where photos are included, specifically documenting that consent was obtained. The journal will obscure the identity of the subject (i.e. a black box obscuring identifying details) in any photos that are published.
References – All citations in the reference list are to be in the National Library of Medicine (NLM) style (2nd Edition - 2020) Authors are responsible for supplying complete references and verifying them against the original documents. For full guidelines go to

Manuscript Proof & Publication Fee Policy
Manuscripts accepted for publication are published at no cost to the author.
Manuscript proofs are sent to corresponding authors via email in PDF format and
corresponding authors are responsible for signing off on proofs for publication. The
corresponding author is responsible for consulting with all co-authors regarding
revisions. Any changes to proofs must be clearly indicated to the managing editor and
be sent back by the designated deadline. A manuscript may be rescheduled for a later
publication if the delay warrants such action. All accepted manuscripts are subject to
final editing by the journal and its editors to improve readability and conserve space.
