Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines for the acceptance and presentation of advertisements in Therapeutic Sciences: Emerging Research in Medical Gasses and Regenerative Biology – The International Hyperbarics Association Journal. This policy applies to all print and digital editions of the journal.
Acceptance of Advertisements
Advertisements are subject to approval by the publisher of the journal. The acceptance of advertisement does not imply endorsement by the journal or its publisher. The journal reserves the right to reject any advertisement that does not align with its mission, values, or editorial policies.
Content and Format
Advertisements must be accurate, truthful, and comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Advertisements must not be misleading, deceptive, or offensive. They should not promote any illegal or unethical products, services, or practices. Advertisements should be clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Advertising content must be clearly marked as such.
Conflicts of Interest
The journal maintains a strict separation between editorial and advertising content to avoid any potential conflicts of interest. Editorial decisions are not influenced by advertising revenue or relationships with advertisers.
Target Audience
Advertisements must be appropriate for the journal’s readership, which includes healthcare professionals, researchers, business owners, and consumers at large.
Privacy and Data Protection
Advertisers must comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws. The journal does not share personal information about its readers with advertisers without explicit consent.
Ethical Standards
The journal adheres to high ethical standards in advertising. Advertisements for products related to healthcare and medical treatments must be back by scientific evidence and be approved by relevant regulatory authorities. Medical products must have FDA approval (clearance) to be advertised within the journal and the advertiser must provide a copy of all relevant paperwork for the journal to keep on-file to show that the product has met the requirements for safety, efficacy and quality at the time of publication.
Changes and Amendments
The journal reserves the right to change or amend this policy at any time. Advertisers will be notified of any significant changes that may affect their advertisements.
